Tenacity (14A)

1)    For one, I learned that no matter what just keep looking at the course page every Monday and just do the work. As long as you make the post you get credit, so just complete it to the best of your ability.
2)    I’m currently a senior who has a job waiting until I graduate. If there’s a moment where I don’t want to do something, I’ll simply not do it. But, in general pulling through adversity is very satisfying and will ultimately make your attitude for future problems better.
3)    Definitely, embrace difficulty (life wasn’t meant to be easy). Failure isn’t a bad thing, it seems means you’ve become more likely to succeed in the future. Utilize your strengths in everything you do and find a way to work around your weaknesses.

  1. I agree with pulling through adversity is very satisfying. Much like cooking a full on meal from scratch or accomplishing a feat you thought you never thought you could accomplish before. Failure is indeed not a bad thing, therefore embracing it would definitely be better than to deny it ever happen because it opens up future problems of the same problem because you learned nothing from the first time.

  2. Hi Mitch,

I really like these tips that you have for the future students of ENT3003. I do think you should finish your last few semesters well because it does help your attitude in the future. Also, I think planning ahead is important for this class because the assignments are due at 12pm on Mondays or Fridays.

  3. The ability to fail with little long term affects is an ability many young people don't take advantage of. You won't always have the safety net of your youth to catch you. So while you might be scared, it would be best to take full advantage of your youth by failing as much as you can. Great advice, and good luck after graduation
