Final Reflection (30A)

I will always remember that this is the class I got the lowest grade in college. Do I think this failure is a great learning experience, as this class has told me to think about it? Not to the extent the professor probably hopes. I am going to talk in general when discussing my most joyous experience. This is my last semester as an undergraduate student, and I had a lot of fun. Yes, I had a tendency to neglect my classes, but I still came out of college with a good GPA, a well-paying job, and no debt.
Surprisingly, this class has shown just how simple it is to apply yourself to have an entrepreneurial mindset. I am not saying being an entrepreneur is easy. I am saying that apply oneself to focus on business opportunities is easier than I had anticipated. So, I am walking out of this class more like an entrepreneur.
For future students, it is important to recognize that this class cannot be neglected. That doesn’t make it difficult, it simply requires your attention. Don’t do what I did, and simply not look at the canvas site for the first two weeks and miss 5-some assignments. There are no exams and the quizzes are weighted lightly, so focus on simply completing every assignment.

  1. This class is really easy to neglect. I'm glad that you were able to catch up. I do agree with you that it was simpler than I thought to adopt the entrepreneurial mindset. I think this class helps me look at different bugs as opportunities. Congratulations on graduating this semester and your job!

  2. I agree that this class is easy to neglect, which is why it is important to complete all of the assignments as these assignments make up a huge part of your grade. In which, I am glad that you were able to adapt to this and earn your points. I also agree that this class has shown how easy it is to adopt the entrepreneurial mindset, as I feel like I have as well. All in all, I've enjoyed reading your posts through the semester and congrats on graduating and getting your job!

  3. Well said, I also suffered from neglecting this class and have learned an important lesson from it. Sometimes completing what seems like a tedious amount of easy work can be just as hard as completing fewer but more advanced assignments. Glad to see you are graduating debt free and with a good job lined up for the future. Wish you the best, happy holidays!

  4. Hey Mitchell,

I found your reflection to be very relatable as I too have found it relatively easy to adopt an entrepreneurial mindset. I also agree with you that this class can be tedious and easy to neglect sometimes, but I am glad that you at least stuck it out and are now graduating and moving on to bigger and better things. Good luck with your job and congrats on graduating, it's been a fun semester!

  5. Mitchell, this will be the final comment that I will post on this website. Unfortunately my posts were never seen let alone read due to the fact that the TAs have never updated the website on the directory despite my emails about it, so it was a shame no one read mine. However your posts were a joy to read and I am sad this is ending, but all good things must come to an end. As a final note, your post is a relatable on many levels and its realistic considering how many people went through what you did this semester. Have a great day and enjoy the life man! Hope that venture works out!
